New photo contest theme: “Faces” — deadline noon Jan. 4th! Faces make us laugh or cry or burst into smiles, or make us contemplate. We’re wondering if 33.10 submitters can put a twist on the traditional question of “what is a face?” and come up with some creative takes (and snaps) on the definition. Get up close to your subject, fill the frame or make it into a game. A second-place winner will be chosen at random. Ohhh, cool prizes for this contest for the winner is a $75 gift certificate for Polished Image Day Spa (for a facial maybe?) and second place wins $50 to Lowe’s (perhaps to put a new face on some walls?).
You must include a short caption on the e-mail identifying person(s) in
the photo, and include a name and daytime telephone number. Only digital
photos will be accepted. One entry per person per month, please. We
reserve the right to edit all photos for publication. Due to space
limitations, not all photos received will be published in 33.10.
